I am 46, one metre ninety, built by a fair amount of sport and a stubborn refusal to give up bread. I speak Dutch, French and English fluently. In this country that is less a talent than a survival skill, but it does open conversations that would otherwise never start.
Julian is not the name on my identity card. That is deliberate, and it protects you as much as it protects me. What you tell me stays in the room it was said in.
